Let me introduce myself. My name is Jean Thomas, and I was born a few months ago. Of course there were other me’s before Jean Thomas. I started out as Bob Rogers more years ago than I’m willing to reveal. I spent a good chunk of time being just Bob Rogers until I became Lee Rogers for my first book, a historical romance called ALL THESE SPLENDID SINS. Lee Rogers didn’t last very long. By my second book I’d become Jean Barrett. Jean Barrett lasted for many years through twenty-three books.

When I signed on recently with Harlequin Romantic Suspense, I was asked to change my pen name. Seems there’s already another Barrett writing for the line. The change is fine with me. I already like Jean Thomas, and I hope you will, too.
